Project Management

  • Led the $1.5 million Design and Build effort to install a 120gpm industrial wastewater treatment plant. Project included transitioning from existing wastewater treatment plant to the "new" plant without interrupting manufacturing operations
  • Led three hazardous waste permit application (RCRA Part B) projects in three different states -- Washington, California, and Mississippi. Responsibilities included team management, contractor interface, and regulatory negotiations.
  • Developed Integrated Emergency Response and Contingency Plan for major appliance manufacturing facility.
  • Title V air permit application and modification. Responsibilities included permit conditions negotiation with the Memphis Shelby County Health Department as well as outside consultant oversight.
  • Several environmental operations related projects involving scope of work development, budgeting, and contractor oversight to project completion.
  • Led several team oriented short term projects involving members from other functional groups within the company
  • Three year project to remove 70 underground diesel tanks. Managed contractors and regulatory interface
  • Three year, $1 million project to retro fill 89 PCB transformers. Managed contractors, budget, and regulatory interface.
  • Developed specifications and managed asbestos survey project for a large rocket manufacturing facility.

Supervisor

  • Nine years as Environmental Operations Supervisor in an appliance manufacturing plant. Was in charge of industrial waste management and a two-shift wastewater treatment plant. Was responsible for maintaining waste operations to support production schedules. Maintained service contracts with various waste disposal vendors.
  • Five years as a shift supervisor in a specialty chemical plant
